Fairly quick warm up yesterday. Have been struggling lately with a very annoying artist block. I guess it's just stress from the workshop ahead. Anyway I just wanted to do something fast and simple to prove to myself i can deliver in the class.

This wouldn't look out of place in a futuristic or post-apocalyptic fps, such as crysis or fallout.

This is one of my fav images ever. I wrote a short story for a Sci-Fi class I had to take in College (which I enjoyed) and this is almost a bang on visualization of my main character. Wow this is amazing. Atmosphere, mood, color tone and balance (not like I'm an expert) it's just a great image. Well done! Keep up the good work.

Great art! I have a question though. If you want to study this kind of art at university, what would the program be called? Digital art???
Thinking about applying for several art schools in london but not sure of the program yet.

illustration, concept art, digital art... I didn't learn in school so i don't know much about that. I would ask someone who actually went to college. there are online courses and private schools that teach you this stuff as well.

Ok, I've been thinking about applying for digital art at goldsmiths since there a bit more wide. Been looking at some game design courses but afraid to end up freelancing since it's directed for drawing and animating. I want a combination of doing these digital drawings with programming, visual effects and those kind of stuff. Got any course suggestions I should look for?

I don't know man. Again I didn't go to school so I can't really tell. there is a lot of courses like, , and why would you be affraid of freelancing? wouldn't that give you more freedom?
