I have to agree with your previous persons critique, the wiggly lines above the forgrounds figures shoulders could do with coming out all together or developing. The suggestion of reflection off both the figures helmets are brilliantly painted. Your depth of field is brilliantly captured and gives the sense of scale to the background.
Simplicity is key here and certainly gives impact to the overall look so I am pleased you havent got too bogged down with detail. And you are allowing the viewer to make there own mind up what they are seeing without complicating the composition.
Im intrigued, how long on that sunday did it take you?
OK, firstly, wow. I'm insanely jealous of your skill, if this is the kind of thing you sketch on a daily basis. But you're looking for critique, not just praise, so here we go. In the background, I love the red and green outlines that suggest movement as they give a very fluid feel to the picture, however if you want a more scientifically correct picture, I'm pretty certain that it should be red and blue. Also, the characters at the front, while they are wonderfully detailed, all have 'shadows' around them where, I'm guessing, you created a layer or two that has a slightly different outline to the others. On the whole this isn't too bad (again, suggesting movement) but there are places, like at the front guy's elbow, where it's a bit weird. And finally, the light reflecting off things is normally fine, but the guy at the front has this weird wiggly line over his shoulders which is, well, a bit odd to be honest. Overall an amazing 'sketch' and I think that the roughness of it actually lends itself to the subject you've chosen. Totally blown away by your skill and I'm off now to dig through your gallery
I love how you used Alchemy for the backgrounds and it actually looks like you've spent a lot of time on it even though it didn't take you that long to do it in the first place.
